Peugeot 206 review by Dan

Overall rating: 8/10

Good points:
A great sporty little car, looks can be decieving though with plenty of passenger space. I have purchased the 206 XSi 1.6 16V. A great performer, with fantastic styling, including neat spoilers and alloy wheels. Good equipment levels too, including; Electric front windows, electric heated door mirrors, A/C, Driver, passenger, side and front and rear curtain airbags, ABS (EBFD), alarm and deadlocks - the list is endless, and for nearly £13000 you get a lot more for your money than some other makes! A great performer around town and on the open road, with crisp handling and surperb steering.

Bad points:
Somewhat noisy with quite loud tyre noise, engine can quite loud on motorways, although this can be toned down by the good CD/stereo system.

Main review:
I'm glad I have chosen the 206 XSi - it looks great, feels great and drives great. A truly worthwhile option if you are looking for a new car. Take a test drive and be impressed. I would opt though, however to avoid the 1.1, and 1.4 8V. Try and go for the 1.4 16V in SE trim and Quicksilver, or the 1.6 and 2.0 16V variants. Equpment levels are far better and the engines better performers for any driving styles.
