Overall rating: 9/10

Good points:

2 ltr diesel very powerful - and one third faster than 2 ltr petrol on acceleration 30-70mph!! A truly amazing experience. Inside trim is much better quality. The two-one blak and beige interior is light and airy - so much niver than the all-black insides of Golfs. Handling is superb. This is my first Focul and I can not fault the road holding. I've had my new Focus for some five weeks now and covered 1,500 miles without and problems - noy a single issue to take up when it goes back for its first service - so far that is...

Bad points:

The only bad point is the stupidly small LED readout for odometer/trip and computer. The contrast is dull and difficult to see. Why on earth can't Ford make a readout like French car makers do?
