Ford Focus C Max review by James Bourke2-14-2005
Overall rating: 10/10 Good points: The outstanding power steering gives a real sense of being firmly in contact with the road. Build quality is outstanding. Paint finish gives a sense of depth and quality. Bad points: None really, but not as easy on the pocket petrol-wise as other makes I have driven. Main review: Having driven Nissan for most of the past 25 years, and Renault for the past four, I finally came back to my roots (I last drove a Ford in 1980). Having read many reviews on the outstanding Ford Focus saloon I decided to take a closer look at the Blue Oval. I opted for the Ford Focus C-Max and decided on the 1.6 petrol option. Admittedly I only have the car two months, but in that time I have come to appreciate its many fine qualities. Its handling is superb. To sum it up in just one sentence - I really did not know what I was missing. After a long time away I am glad to have returned home to Ford. Best wishes, James Bourke
