Well i have had a C2 Furio for 3 months now. I have had the following problems,
- Falling out of gear at 40-50 mph, having to stop -restart the engine to get moving again.
- Wouldn't start one night, gears wouldn't initialise properly
- Wouldn't initialise 1st gear on cold mornings
I've had the car in the garage three times it has 3000 miles on now.
The problem has however been cured through a patch to the gearbox. if you are buying one of the first models make sure the patch has been applied. I would steer clear however as i reckon that these cars may cause a lot of problems later in life. Get the proper gearbox model.
Citroen UK do nothing to maintain good customer relations either, i nearly lost my job as i was extremely late one night through the car not starting. They did not mention it in the letter they wrote back to me, afterwards and offered no compensation.
Reliability: 1/10 Practicality: 10/10 Performance: 9/10 Value for money: 10/10
